Volunteer Opportunity:Ronald McDonald House Docent During Open House
Ronald McDonald House at Stanford is offering complete tours of the newly-constructed House from February 13-28, 2016. As a result of “Where Hope Has a Home,” a year-long philanthropic partnership with the San Francisco Design Center, some of the Bay Area’s top design firms have been hard at work to ensure the new House provides the perfect environment to support families in crisis. Their collective efforts are transforming the new structure into an oasis of hope and love, from the paint and flooring, to the fixtures and furniture, including everything in between.
We are looking for volunteers to act as docents for this two week long Design Tour event. We will need 40 volunteers per day to monitor rooms and answer basic questions (answers for which will be provided as well as a brief training session). Attached to the end of today’s eBulletin is a more in depth description.
