The parish Prayer Shawl Ministry has provided over 80 knitted, crocheted and hand-woven prayer shawls to people in times of great challenges and pain. We are hoping to hear from you if you care to make a shawl for this good work. 

In the past, some parishioners have generously contributed created shawls which are blessed by a priest before thoughtfully given to a recipient.  We are very grateful.

To further inspire anyone to make a prayer shawl, here are some very kind comments from past recipients: 
 

*I was very lucky to receive the prayer shawl during my cancer treatment.  I had it with me during my hospital stay after the surgery and was very much comforted to have it around me.  During my difficult chemotherapy treatment I always had it with me and thankful for all the prayers that came with it.  I still use it regularly and it gives me a cozy feeling.

**She was comforted to know that many people were praying for her...  She was also grateful to the person who made the prayer shawl and it was with her when she went to be with God.
