UPDATE: St. Albert the Great Church Flooring Fund: Moving Ahead!
The Pastoral Stewardship Council (PSC) got an update from Roland Quintero at its Wednesday, January 11 meeting. It was pleased to hear that detailed implementation planning is underway. It is likely the work will occur in two phases, due to the availability of the church and for storage of the pews during flooring/carpeting replacement.
It is likely that the restoration of the sanctuary (removal of carpeting, restoration of marble, etc.) will occur first in the next few months, with the main church (“nave” for you techies!) will occur during the summer months when Seton School is out and we have a place to store the pews. Detailed implementation planning is continuing and will be shared here when in place. And as we said last week, local approvals are underway, and then final Diocesan approvals will be secured.
