I felt so rejuvenated after today’s Mass. We are going through family but also lonely days. I loved seeing so many participating in today’s Easter Mass. Huge thank you to all that made it possible. To each of you that joined. Many shared with me your Easter Candles. Lovely!
We went now through almost a month of Shelter in Place. Mysteriously it coincided with Holy Week and Easter. We had an unique opportunity to pray, reflect, be still. Maybe never before mankind had such an Easter.
Now, it is true that we have been through this for almost a month. We are blessed that we are not in total lockdown as they are in other countries. My mother in Argentina has not left her home since March 16. I have friends going through the same in Colombia, Brazil, Italy, Spain… Even though here we can go out we are starting to feel tired, we want this to end soon. Are we running out of patience? Going low on batteries? So, now, stronger than ever! Now it is time to continue building up all that started thanks to this painful pandemic.
Nature is gaining strength. When we let things function in the way GOD designed them they get a strength that is UNBELIVABLE. We are now witnessing it. When we define what is essential we become more human. Materialism, consumerism, desire for possessions turn us into possessions/objects. When we get back into ourselves being able to reach out to others, we become more human. When we connect with God, we become more Divine in the Image He created us. We get back to the beginning where God said "and all these is Good." How good and beautiful we are when we follow God’s natural design of His Creation. We don’t have to do much but do it will all our hearts.
Now more than ever, not gathered but closer. Now more than ever, lonely but united. More than ever in silence but listening loudly. Now more than ever, Happy Easter. Now more than ever, God Alone. It’s Gods time.
