Be more involved in your community and beyond through service projects far and large. Meet thousands of other high schoolers at big national gatherings. Be inspired by the Old Testament and big figures such as David, Jonah, Judith, etc
What: Be ready to launch for your next adventures: throughout the year, we're going to support the Alliance Against Leprosy, an association which helps lepers in Brazil. We'll do lots of fun activities like baking and painting together, in order to have fundraisers (bake sales and painting sales and more!). All the money raised will be sent to the AAL. Every dollar makes a difference in the life of a leper who can't use his/her feet or hands anymore... In June we'll go to Brazil to meet with the people in charge of the AAL and we will visit some sites. We'll see first hand how what we do relates to Bible stories, and how the Bible stories can relate to our lives today.
Where: At St. Albert the Great site located at1095 Channing Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94301,
When: on Fridays from 6:30PM to 8PM.

Throughout the year, we'll support the Alliance Against Leprosy. Did you know that there are still more than 3 million lepers today in the world with 200,000 new cases each year, mainly in Brazil, India and Indonesia? In Brazil there are as many new leprosy cases per year as new HIV cases!
