We are called to a vision of new hope. In this earthly life, with its grief and pain, its suffering and loss, death marks the limit of our vision, a horizon beyond which we cannot see.
Please help us to reach out to those individuals and families who have experienced the pain and hurt of losing a loved one through a violent act. We cannot ignore the moral and human costs of violence in our midst.
A special Mass for Victims/Survivors of Violence
will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:30 pm at
St. John Vianney Church, 4600 Hyland Avenue, San Jose, CA
Bishop Patrick McGrath will be the presider.
All are invited to the Mass and to the reception.
If you have had a loved one or friend taken by violence and would like that person to be remembered by name during this Mass, please contact Sister Maryann Cantlon at (408) 983-0131 or at email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org
