St. Thomas Aquinas Parish Corpus Christi Celebrations and Procession
June, 2nd 2024 is the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, a feast instituted by Pope Urban the IV at the urging of our patron, St. Thomas Aquinas, so that all may have joy in the fact that the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our parish will celebrate this momentous occasion during this Year of Eucharistic Revival by two special Masses and a procession through the streets of Palo Alto.
7:30am Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas church presided by Bishop Oscar Cantú
Directly after the Mass, the procession will start and follow the route detailed by the map below:
After the procession reaches St. Albert the Great and ends, we will have a special bilingual Mass at approximately 9am at St. Albert the Great presided by our pastor, Fr. Stasys
Please join our parish in celebrating this important solemnity by attending one of the Masses and taking part in the procession. There will be NO 9am Spanish Mass or 10:30am English Mass at Our Lady of the Rosary this day to allow for parishioners to take part in the special celebrations.
