Mission Dolores on El Camino Real
Pastor Anthony Mancuso and Fr. Steve Kim of Saint John Vianney Parish in San Jose are embarking on a historic four day trek to in order raise funds for the completion of a much needed community center in East San Jose. They hope to raise as much money as possible towards the $1.8 million needed to complete and open the building.
Each priest is seeking sponsorship for the 52 miles they will each walk from the parish grounds to Mission Dolores in San Francisco, the mother archdiocese to San Jose.
The Pilgrimage Walkbegins following mass on:
Monday, October 24
7:45am Mass
Saint John Vianney Parish
4069 Alum Rock Avenue
San Jose, CA 95127
They will begin their journey along Alum Rock Avenue as it becomes Santa Clara Street and then The Alameda, and finally, the El Camino Real, walking their way through Santa Clara and San Mateo counties and into San Francisco, concluding four days later on Thursday, October 27th.
The priests welcome sponsorships, matching dollars for each mile they will walk. Please indicate amount of sponsorship per mile or a flat rate.$1 per mile X 52 = $52
$5 per mile X 52 = $260
$20 per mile X 52 = $1040
$50 per mile X 52 = $2600
$100 per mile X 52 = $5200
