Join us as we learn about addiction and recovery from two incredible speakers: Father Tom Weston, S.J. and The Rt. Rev. Chilton Knudsen. Both speakers bring a wealth of knowledge about addiction and recovery.

The Right Rev. Chilton R. Knudsen (8th Bishop of Maine (retired) Assistant Bishop of Maryland) Bishop Knudsen is a nationally-recognized expert in conflict resolution, congregational development, and issues of addiction and recovery especially within church systems. Bishop Knudsen is co-author of, So You Think You Don't Know One? Addiction and Recovery in Clergy and Congregations and Depending on the Grace of God: A Spiritual Journey through the Twelve Steps. Elected Bishop of Maine in 1997, she served until retirement in September 2008, leading the diocese in mission work in New Orleans, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. She was called as Assistant Bishop of Maryland in October, 2015.
Thomas C. Weston, SJ: Fr. Tom Weston has been a leader of retreats and workshops for alcoholics and addicts since 1984. A native of San Jose California, he is the former Director of the Jesuit Volunteers Corps and a teacher at Loyola High School in Los Angeles. He has spent over a decade teaching English to young adults in Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand and China. He is internationally known for his work in addiction and recovery. He is a Superior of the Jesuit Community in Okland, CA where he is an avid reader and gardener.
