"Baptism, the Eucharist, and the sacrament of Confirmation together constitute the "sacraments of Christian initiation," whose unity must be safeguarded. It must be explained to the faithful that the reception of the sacrament of Confirmation is necessary for the completion of baptismal grace. For "by the sacrament of Confirmation, [the baptized] are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed." CCC
Are you an adult baptized Catholic and wish to complete your Christian initiation with the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or First Eucharist? Our parish welcomes and invites you to continue your journey of initiation into a deeper spiritual relationship with God by leading you to receive the Sacraments of Confirmation or Holy Eucharist for the first time.
We are starting a new program this fall for Catholic adults beginning Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in the Dermody Center at 7:00pm. Another session will begin in the spring 2017.
